Robert Ellis: CITY OF ECHOES Newsletter May-June 2015

CITY OF ECHOES
COMING SEPTEMBER 1, 2015

Meet detective Matt Jones... It's his first night working Homicide in LA, and he’s been called to investigate a particularly violent murder case: a man has been gunned down hard in a parking lot off Hollywood Boulevard, his bullet-riddled body immediately pegged as the work of a serial robber who has been haunting the Strip for months.

Driven by the grisliness of the crime, the identity of the victim and the outrage, Jones and his hot-tempered partner, Denny Cabrera, jump headfirst into the investigation.

But the way is not easy, and nothing about the direction they're taking is even close to safe. As Jones uncovers evidence linking the crime to a brutal, ritualized murder that occurred eighteen months ago, he begins to suspect there’s more going on beneath the surface, and that he's in too deep to turn back or escape. When Jones discovers shocking, deep-seated corruption; a high-level cover-up; and his own personal ties to the rising body count, he’s no longer sure he can trust anyone, not even himself.

With CITY OF ECHOES Robert Ellis delivers his most personal, most terrifying thriller yet. Be careful! This one's throttled all the way up. This one cuts to the bone!

AUTHOR'S NOTE
Robert Ellis

While we wait out the summer I'd like to thank everyone for your patience and continued support. I know my novels take more time to write than most, but I think you'll agree, especially after reading CITY OF ECHOES, that it was worth the wait.

I knew something special was going on with this story the minute I reached the end of the second chapter. Something happened that I still can't explain. All I know is that CITY OF ECHOES is the best thriller I've ever written. And you really do need to be prepared for the shock! This novel is seriously twisted! I hope you love it!
