Robert Ellis: The Lena Gamble Novels

 

I realize that the new Kindle editions of all three Lena Gamble thrillers have just been posted on Amazon, and that I love the updated artwork for each one of them, especially the new jacket for MURDER SEASON. What I didn’t expect were all the emails I received from readers offering their support and goodwill. Much thanks to everyone who responded so graciously.

MATT JONES 4 …The big news now is that the editing for the next Detective Matt Jones thriller is nearing completion, the book scheduled to come out in early May. (Fingers crossed!) We’re trying to keep the title and cover art secret for a few more weeks, but the jacket blows my mind and I can’t wait to post it. And I can’t wait for you to read it!

Robert Ellis: Robert Ellis News!

 

During this horrific stretch of time dealing with the Covid crisis, a presidential election, cable news overdoses, and whatever else the world’s decided to toss at us, I’ve been very busy!

The new novel, Detective Matt Jones 4, is done, and will be out in early May! I’m keeping the title and cover art secret for a few more weeks, but all of that and pre-order info will be posted soon!

What’s not secret are the Lena Gamble novels. Kindle editions of the newly released editions have just gone up on Amazon with paperbacks to follow soon. I think the artwork for these books is more than I could have ever hoped for. I especially love the new cover for MURDER SEASON! Wow! What a gem! Also, very important. These novels are finally set at a reasonable price. I can remember being out on tour. Every bookseller I met, every editor I ever worked with, called Lena Gamble the only female in crime fiction able to stand with Sam Spade. I know I’m biased, but I still wholeheartedly agree, and hope you do, too! I hope you enjoy the new editions of these books as much I enjoyed rereading them and putting all this together!
